Test Advice Required Certificates • Ensure both road tax and insurance certificates are current and registration numbers are clearly displayed. • Ensure your driving licence is current and is stamped with the correct category for your test. • Ensure the test vehicle is in good working order and that any required N.C.T. certificates are displayed. Common Student Oversights • Ensure the wash wipe is in working order. • Ensure "L" plates are correctly positioned and displayed. • Ensure number plates are of regulation issue, customised plates are not acceptable. • Make sure to be at the test centre 10/15 minutes before your appointment. • On cars with fleet insurance, ensure the vehicle registration number matches that on the certificate. • Ensure you have the official notification of your driving test appointment. Please use this pre-test checklist well in advance, as certificates take some time to be issued. |
